I placed an order at the start of September and after being told on more than 6 occasions that my package will be sent “tomorrow” I asked for a refund – I am now still waiting for my refund, and have been told multiple times that my refund of $283 has been processed and it will show up in my account in 7 – 10 days – it has now been over 60 days and I’m still waiting. Don’t use this company!

UPDATE: Saturday, 3/31/2012, I received a check for $50 from Silver Capital Group LLC for my 14-karat yellow gold rope anklet. I was pleased with this amount for the anklet, but the check did not include the $50 bonus for InboxDollars members. I emailed this issue to Trent (Silver) while ccing it to Richard Schiffer. Trent agreed to send me another check for $50 this week. By the end of this week, I should be done with Prestige Gold Buyers, Goldster, Trent Silver, etc., forever.

I count this whole situation as a lesson learned in life!

KH – If you have not done so, please file a claim at http://myfloridalegal.com/Contact.nsf/Contact. Richard Schiffer is overseeing our claim with the FL Attorney General’s office.

I was promised, again, on Tuesday (3/27) that a check for $50 is on the way. This is not an acceptable amount and I am convinced that it is another lie (that a check is in the mail). They seem to have no intention of paying!

Do you know how much you are to receive? What type of documentation did you include in your claim? I had pictures of all the documentation that Prestige Gold Buyers sent to me, as well as, pictures of my jewelry. I am just so hurt and frustrated. I will never do something like this again!

Thank you for this blog and all the posts. I am going through a similar situation with Goldster and have received the e-mail from them/the BBB indicating that payments would be mailed. It is almost 60 days from when I sent in my information and I have received nothing. Has anyone looked into obtaining counsel down there to file a class action against Goldster, Prestige, MyPoints and Prestige’s parent company (whose name I can’t remember at this time)?
