What’s Up With Comment Spam?
I guess I should be honored that the blog is noticed enough to attract it… Or something… But…
What’s up with comment spam?
First there were tons and tons of messages about how to get your meds cheaper. Of course there’s the occasional one for something that’s definately not “family friendly.” And latetly it’s a flood of things about buying cars.
I mean A LOT… At least 10 comments a day that are pure spam.
WHY?
Everyone filters or moderates their comments, so it’s not like those kinds of things are ever going to see the light of day. And even if they DID – who’s going to click on an obvious spam ad for that kind of stuff when they’re reading a homeschooling blog?
So what do the people who post those think they’re accomplishing, anyway??
SIGH

Ya know…..thoese come through my blog all the time! I even get them in my e-mail all the time, especially the blog and e-mail addresses associated with my business. My personal blog and personal e-mail I don’t get hardly any of that. I do agree, it does get really annoying!
