My cup runneth over … !
I don’t know if anything else could make me happier than I am now. We have had our run of tough times. It was hard sometimes to keep God as the focus. The stress and all for the last four years with our failed retail business. The roller coaster with my dad’s cancer. It has worn us down. But the silver lining is shining bright. Have a seat and let me tell you of the blessings poured out upon my family.
The first thing was our great news about soon having a new addition to the family. Tiffany is expecting and we are excited. We are already planning RT’s life. (Robert Thomas if it is a boy, but I am going to call him RT. I guess if it is a girl we can name her Roberta Thomasina …)
Next is the great news from the doctors about my dad. His fight with the cancer and then the illness after his treatments, we thought we were going to lose him. Many long nights and rough days with lots of prayer have passed. On his last trip to the doctor everything showed up clean. No cancer. We have another doctor checkup in a month. Keep on praying for him.
Finally, we were blessed with a great group of people here in Ohio. They have been looking for a home for us to settle down and a job. We needed a little more stability in our life with the new baby coming. One of our friends here has connected me with a person in Florida about both. They are looking for a person for seasonal work from October through May … and the job comes with a house. If it works out and we want to return every year, we get the house year round. I am still trying to believe it. We have a house while Tiffany is pregnant and I can scuba every week.
Life doesn’t get much better.
By God’s grace …
