Glad to hear that the kittens have been rescued. One spring on the farm we ended up with 4 abandoned mama Cats who produced a total of 17 kittens in a little less than a week. The front porch was a cattery for months - also several calicos and marmalades. the joys of country living.
Glad you have arrived safely and more pleased that the house is OK.

Awww.....We did the same about a month ago. We rescued a momma kitty, someone had told us her kittens were dead, so we took her in. She started getting milk in, and we knew they probably weren't. We were sad. about 3 weeks later the person called and said they had 2 kittens they thought were hers. She souldn't accept them back, and they were tiny, tiny. Maybe 4-5 weeks old we're guessing. They were able to eat moistened kitten food, thank goodness! We mothered them and taught them to play. We had a gray/briwn tiger striped we named "Little Sister", and a black & white one we named "Little Brother". Yesterday, we finally found a forever home for them.....with another homeschooling family who lives across town. We'll miss them, but on the other hand, we're glad to see them go. You can see a picture of them here: http://www.parsonsclassifieds.com/get_image.php?popupimage=193 for a few more days till the ad expires. This was a couple of weeks after we rescued them. They are MUCH bigger now!
