Life on the Road

I know I have seen lotion bars sitting around in those “bath & body” kinds of stores, but I never really paid much attention.  Who knew I was actually missing out on something cool?

My friend Jenifer sent me a sample of the “Country Bunny” bar from Jordan (a neat little company I had also never heard of).  (Okay, I do have some usability issues with their websites.  Click on “Body Products” from the main page to see the lotion bar.  Ahem!)

I had the “Lavender & Eucalyptis” fragrance - which is probably not what I would have picked, and frankly didn’t sound too appealing.

Wow, nice surprise!  The eucalyptis mellowed the lavender, but didn’t clash with it…  A pleasant, mild scent that even Wolf liked.

Now bear in mind that we’re not really ”lotion people.”  We use lotion when we need to, usually for weather-related dry skin, but in general we both dislike the greasy feeling so many of them leave (at least the ones that feel like they’re doing anything!)

This soaked right in, and just left my skin feeling silky smooth.  Wolf agreed that it was really nice. 

I guess I found anther goodie for our Christmas stockings!
