Life on the Road

(Of COUSE I’m working on the birth story and photos… these things take time!)

I wanted to share one of the priceless little moments that remind me just how blessed I am to be married to Wolf:

We had some family photos done at Sears on Thursday, while my mom and sister were here, and stopped by Macy’s first because they wanted to buy some cute boy clothes for RT (Jewel’s hand-me-downs are heavy on the pink and frilly).

I was holding the baby as we stepped onto the down escalator.

Wolf walked backwards a couple of steps to stay handy and make sure I was aboard safely.  Once settled, he turned to look which side of the step I ended up on, and placed himself in front of me.  (Should I fall, he’d be there to catch me).

What a thoughtful, chivalrous, unheard-of thing!

I am a lucky woman.
