After the Storm…
I was quite surprised to get a call from a friend in California asking if we were okay… Then I checked the news and saw the number that Fay is still doing upstate!
Nick’s school was closed Monday and Tuesday, and we did have a lot of wind and rain - but a “regular storm” kind of “a lot”.
Our roof leaked in a few places, but that was the extent of our damage as the storm made landfall at 5 am Tuesday and continued North. Our power, miraculously, didn’t even blink.
Nick had his first day of school - finally - on Wednesday, and life here is totally back to normal.
Since we don’t have TV, we had no idea Fay was still up to no good…
