Costumes Are Fun!
Posting about our costumed family portraits got me thinking about costumes…
I posted about our search for a Wonder Woman costume in 2007, but somehow haven’t gotten any “action shots” up from the last *two* Halloweens! My goodness…
Okay, 2007 recap:
Nick was Captain Kirk
Jewel was – you guessed it – Wonder Woman
You know, every time I search for costumes, I end up with the same result. I run searches, I browse all over the web, I compare prices, I look at auctions, and I try to fnd someplace local to patronize… And then I end up buying everything at BuyCostumes.com. How can you beat a place with a great selection and great customer service?
Anyhow, this past Halloween – 2008
You’ll never guess – Jewel was Wonder Woman!
Nick was… something menacing… with wings that opened! Bos will be boys, I guess.
A casual reference I ran across online got me to wondering… The online costume stores are open year-round. What else do they sell?
Well, Easter costumes turned out to be a big one. Wow – there’s a nice theatrical Jesus outfit, right there on a page full of assorted Bunny Costumes. (Go ahead, look – it’s funny! It’ll open in a new window. I’ll wait…)
No? Okay, me neither.
But it might be fun to dress R.T. up as a marshmallow Peep!
